She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Arthur King; her parents, Allie Ruth Green Perry and Ovie Elmer Perry; and her grandson Joshua David King. She is survived by: her son David King of Fredericksburg; her grandchildren, Katie Mahood (Sergeant Phillip Mahood) of Augusta, Georgia and Joshua Arthur King; her great grandchildren, Devon, Morgan, Ashlyn and Lillian Mahood; her nephew Mike King; her cousin Gary King; her friend Robbie Grosinske; and also, Bonnie King of Corpus Christi, TX and Britt Fitts.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to First Baptist Church Library Fund, or St. Jude Children's hospital.
