She was predeceased by: her stepfather Junior Spratlin; her parents-in-law, Mae Page Mitchell and Elbert James Mitchell; and her brother-in-law Norbert Coleman. She is survived by: her husband James Gary Mitchell; her children, April Lathrop (Matt) of Corinth, MS and Kevin Mitchell (Michelle) of Corinth, MS; her grandchildren, Garison Lathrop, Kalee Nash, Peyton Lathrop, Hunter Mitchell, Sam Mitchell and Molly Grace Mitchell; her siblings, Marsha Lavelle of Georgia, Pam Duhon of Louisiana and Terry Wayne Gann of Georgia; and her sister-in-law Sandra Diane Coleman.
