He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elmer and Mollie Galyean Rhodes; his wife Anne Biggers Rhodes; his son Jeff Rhodes; and his brother Linton Rhodes.
He is survived by: his sons, Lex Rhodes, Jr. and Matt Rhodes (Missy); his grandchildren, Ashley Rhodes Mize (Boomer), Meloney Rhodes Gantez (Juan), Julia Rhodes Parker (Clay), Della Rhodes and Madeline Rhodes; and his great grandchildren, Palmer Mize and Martha Mize. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
