He was predeceased by: his mother Jamie Dalton Spear; his son Leonard Harrison Spear III; his sister Mary Elizabeth Barton; and his great grandchild David Elfert. He is survived by: his father Leonard Harrison Spear, Sr.; his former wife Vivian Janis North of Corinth, Mississippi.; his wife Janis Spear; his daughters, Cindy Erickson (Jimmy Erickson) of Yazoo City, Mississippi, Vivian Farris (Hank Farris) of Taylor, Mississippi and Judy Kruger (Barry Kruger) of San Antonio, Texas; his grandchildren, Kelly Elfert (Roger Elfert), Courtney Walker (Chris Walker), Jamie Hargett (Matt Hargett), Katie Mault (Mason Mault), Janis Kruger, Brett Farris (Laura Farris) and Wesley Kruger (Elise Kruger); his great grandchildren, Katherine Elfert, Larkin Elfert, Harrison Elfert, James Walker, Margaret Walker, Ellen Walker, Eric Hargett, Daniel Hargett and Maggie Mault; and his sister Mildred Pratt Norman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
