He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville James and Ardis A. James Cabot; his brother Charles James (Chuck); and his parents-in-law, Claudie Robinson and Don Robinson.
He is survived by: his significant other Carolyn James of Corinth; his children, Steve James (Tina) of Chattanooga, TN, Michelle Counce (Jason) of Memphis, TN, Brandie Lowrey (Tony) of Corinth, Linsey Sherard (Kristen) of Denver, CO., Larry James, Gina Keene, Michael James and Bryan James; his grandchildren, Benjamin James, Beth James, Mackenzie Counce, Norah Counce, Lucy Counce, Claudia Lowrey, Eli Sherard, Jack Sherard, Conner Dacus and Anna Katherine Warmus; his great grandchildren, Leighana James, Paityn Davis and Stevie Davis; his nephews, Joey Kauffman (Brandi), Sean Kaufman, Charles James, Jr. (Kathi), Eddie Swartz and John Swartz; his sister-in-law Carolyn F. James; his close friends, Mike, Patricia Coleman, Dr. Bob and Jeanne Lee; and his sisters, Pauline Kirsch and Diane Swartz (John).
