He was predeceased by: his daughter Kristy Renea Haynes; and his parents, Hoyt Haynes and Shirley Haynes. He is survived by: his son Keith Garland Haynes II (Rina); his grandchildren, Abby Katherine Jaco (Tyler), Jack Kendall Haynes, Rayven Annalice Rowe, Michael Keith Rowe, Rene Wilson and Zhong Sheng Shang; his great grandchildren, Delaney and Delilah Jaco; his siblings, Hoyt Gregory Haynes (Kathy) and Tracey Haynes Henderson (Dobby); and his stepbrother Scott Rhodes. He is also survived by his grandson, shooting fireworks with his grandchildren.
