She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Collins and Ulna Allen Collins; and her siblings, Jimmy Collins and Joan Johnson. She is survived by: her son Mike Mills (Lynn) of Cedar Rapids, IA; her husband Jimmie Bates of Corinth, MS; her children, Jeff Mills (Sue) of Everett, WA, Norman Mills of Las Vegas, NV, Dan Finley of Ronan, MT, Judy Mills of SeaTac, WA, Marlene Sproul (Ralph) of Spokane Valley, WA and Monica Finley (George) of Idaho; her brothers, Jerry Collins of Spokane Valley, WA and John Collins (Patty) of Glen Ellyn, IL; and her sisters-in-law, Sara Marcelles of West Chester, IL, Barbara Richardson of Corinth, MS and Elizabeth "Lib" Antalek of West Chester, IL. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
