Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jonia May Owens of Corinth, Mississippi, who passed away at the age of 94, on February 10, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lacy and Mattie Parnell Lacy; her son Jimmy; and her husbands, Olen Harvell, Carl Austin and Harold Owens.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda House; her grandchildren, Tiffany Franks, Shalaine Deal (Doug) of Waco, TX, Jimmy E. Harvell (Shana) and Shane Harvell (Trystal) of Corinth, MS; and her daughter-in-law Erlene Harvell. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
A reception was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the McPeters Funeral Directors Chapel (1951 E 3rd St, Corinth, MS 38834).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, one of her favorite organizations.
