He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester Leo and Lurlie Elizabeth Nickels Swindle; his siblings, Vester Leroy Swindle, Wilburn Leo "Bo" Swindle, Bobby Wayne Swindle, Donald Ray Swindle, Paul Waymon Swindle, Roy Madison Swindle and Doris Jean Johnston (TJ); his nephews, Sammy Johnston and Danny Swindle; his granddaughter Kristina Elizabeth Swindle; and his great grandchild Zoe Swindle.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Rosetta Massengill (Ray); his children, Johnny Swindle (Tammy) of Ponchatoula, LA, Mike Swindle of Booneville, MS and Lisa Allen of Corinth; his siblings, Otis Dean Swindle (Anita) of Baton Rouge, LA and Wilma Ruth Burr of Utah; his grandchildren, Jeff Swindle (Kim) of Corinth, Brandi Franks (Jimmy) of Corinth, Jason Swindle (Abby) of Marshall, NC, Jennifer Swindle of Cherokee, AL, Angel Morrow (Will) of Oxford, MS and Brandy Swindle of Horton, AL; and his great grandchildren, Tanner Franks and Emma Franks.
