He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Swan and Elizabeth Swan of Corinth; his wife Betty; and his children, Sherri Heflin (Keith), Sean Swan (Chelle), Mike Davis (Heather) and Charlie Hamblin (Christy). He was also cherished by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Lee County Humane Society or Sanctuary Hospice.
