He was predeceased by: his parents, John E., Jr. and Grace Claunch Burnett; his close friend Ed Barnes; and his siblings, Jerry Lynn Burnett and Barbara Ann Burnett.
He is survived by: his spouse Brandon Lowrey; his brother Jim Burnett (Linda); his nephews, Phil Burnett (Lana), Brent Burnett and Vic Burnett (Melonie); and his cousin Jeanene Duncan Wingett (Bill). He is also survived by great-nieces, great- nephews, and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of John Burnett III to American Red Cross or the Amen Food Pantry.
