John Clayton Spencer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Clayton Spencer (Corinth, Mississippi), who passed away on June 1, 2018 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Carole Gifford Spencer. He is survived by: his daughters, Sylbia Jacobs (Barry Mills) of Corinth, Amy Vanderford of Oxford, Kasey Atkins (Eric) of Corinth and Mary Katharine Sullivan (Brian) of Gulfport; his grandchildren, Allie Rhea Jacobs, Clayton Jacobs, Sam Vanderford, William Vanderford, Anderson Atkins, John Morrow Atkins, Carole Gray Atkins and John Patrick Sullivan; his siblings, Spencer III of Corinth and Brenda Childs (Miller) of Corinth; and his brother-in-law Gene Gifford (Betty). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to AMEN Food Pantry, Corinth High School Band Boosters or First United Methodist Church.
