He was predeceased by: his wife Dru Wilbanks; his granddaughter Lauren Jade Wilbanks; his parents, Virgil Wilbanks and Louise Shields Wilbanks; and his brother-in-law Jerry Lamberth.

He is survived by: his children, Clint Wilbanks (Missy) and Beth Forsythe (Jason); his grandson Matthew Forsythe; his sister Judy Lamberth; and his close friends, Laurie Wilbanks and Terry Rickman.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
