He was predeceased by: his parents, William Guy and Margaret Monroe; and his brothers, Gerald Monroe (Leola) and Charles Monroe (Rhoda). He is survived by: his wife Doris Moore Monroe; his sons, Scott Monroe (Debbie), Kenneth Monroe (Debbie) and Tim Monroe (Debbie); his grandchildren, Taylor Monroe, Olivia Monroe and Mark Monroe; and his sisters, Nora Johnston (Jimmy) and Wanda Dotson (Tony).
