He was predeceased by: his parents, Kennie Clayton and Elsie Marie Davis Borden; and his siblings, Ezra Borden, Imogene Floyd and Viola Floyd.
He is survived by: his children, James Borden, Angela Stephens (Matthew) and Delise Peebles (John); his grandchildren, Colby Borden, Amity Glover, Gracie Barnes (Scott) and Duke Pebbles (Casey Smith); and his siblings, Norman Borden, Bobby Borden, Wanda Hodum, Linda Crum, Nadine Leatherwood and Joyce Tapp.
