He was predeceased by: his father L. C. Evans; and his grandparents, Cleveland, Lessie Mae Evans, Roscoe and Bessie Mask.

He is survived by: his mother Patsy Adair (Frank); his sister Vickie Gilmore (Greg); his stepsisters, Wendy McCollum (Shaun) and Christy Vandergrift (Scottie); and his nephew Nick Gilmore. He is also survived by other aunts, cousins, family and friends.
