He is survived by: his wife Brenda West; his children, James B. West (Mary), Robert West (Elizabeth) and Selena Scott (Donald); his stepsons, Adam Threadgill (Christy) and Brett Threadgill; and his siblings, Terry West (Susan), Rosa Lee Alexander, Mary Evelyn Carpenter (Isaiah), Ethel Jean McDonald (William), Katherine Pounders and Betty Billips (Cheyenne). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
