He was predeceased by: his parents, William Powell Doran and Velma Ruth Johnson Doran. He is survived by: his wife Nina Doran of Glen, MS; his children, James Larry Doran, Jr. (Michelle) and Mary "Tana" Doran Thomas; his grandchildren, Erica Doran Hill (Cody), Kyle Doran, Blake Doran, Justin Fraser and Jeremiah "Jet" Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Amzie Hill, Lofton Hill, Drake Thomas and Jace Thomas.
