He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Lewis Mansel and Gracie Leath Mansel; his wife Martha Jean Mansel; and his siblings, Robert Lewis "Bob" Mansel (Lynn), John William Mansel (Charlotte), Aubrey Lee Mansel and Mary Martha Nails (Homer).
He is survived by: his sons, James H. "Jimmy" Mansel of Corinth and Gary L. Mansel (Yolanda) of Michie, TN; and his grandson Ben Mansel. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
