He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Finney and Betty Finney; his son Gary Finney; and his siblings, Louie Finney, Earl Finney and Irene Watts.
He is survived by: his wife Virgie Finney of Clay City; his children, Kenny Finney (Tina) of Winchester, James Clay Finney (Lashawna) of Winchester, Danny Finney (Donna) of Winchester, Tammy Ford (Kevin) of Jackson and Donna McNees (John) of Frankfort; his stepchildren, Morgan Sexton (Betty) of Clay City, Wendell and Brenda King (Martin) of Pine Knot; and his sister Marie Fornash (Glenn) of Richmond. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
