He was predeceased by: his father James Thomas Gant; and his grandparents, William, Jewel Gant, Julius and Arnie Spencer.

He is survived by: his mother Mary Elsie Spencer Gant; his wife Amy Gant; his parents-in-law, Lanell Coln and Roger Lambert (Louise); his sisters, Gloria Spencer (Jackie) and Debbie Bradley (Jeff); his brothers-in-law, Jason Lambert (Tracie) and Josh Lambert (Kelly); and his nieces, Mandy Boren (Timmy), Jessica Saba (Donald), Amber Mullins (Josh) and Krissy Johnson (Scott). He is also survived by great-nieces, nephews, family and friends.
