Grady Harold Childs Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Childs and Oleta Childs; his parents-in-law, Amos and Zula Mask; and his nephews, Robbie Blankenship and Scott Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Mask Childs; his children, Sunny Childs Phillips (Glen), Sandy Childs-Jones (Keith) and Mackey Childs (Karen); his grandchildren, Lee Hopson (Jana), Drew Phillips, Tanner Childs, D. J. Phillips, Kristen Childs and Haley Jones; his great grandchild L. Max Hopson, IV; and his siblings, Betty Childs Cross (Ed), Kenneth Childs (Regina), Carolyn Childs Browning (Mike), Renae Childs Blankenship Lawson (Robert) and Gary Lee Childs (Paulette). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and best good friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Funeral Home (613 Bunch St, Corinth, MS 38834). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a kid fishing, fix something that doesn't need fixing, sit on the porch and appreciate a good sunset, and/or watch 'Dances with Wolves' with your family. If you have a favorite charity or one that helps kids like St. Jude, please consider giving a small token in his honor.
