With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Allen Smith (Corinth, Mississippi), born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, who passed away on October 19, 2018 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessee Allen Smith and Mildred Gentry Smith; and his brother Stanley Smith. He is survived by: his wife Linda DePoyster Smith of Corinth; his children, Tim Smith (Tracey) of Corinth and Natalie Renison (Julie Hawkins) of Kodak, TN; his grandchildren, Nolan Renison (Shelby), Amanda Renison, Savannah Smith, Victoria Smith and Nyles Smith; his great grandchildren, Caroline Renison and Margaret Renison; his sister Carolyn Hempel of St. Louis, MO; his sister-in-law Faye Smith of Mantachie, MS; his niece Donna Norman of St. Louis, MO; and his nephews, Lamar Farmer of New Albany, MS, Craig Smith (Sherry) of Mantachie, MS and John Hempel of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by other relatives and a host of friends.
