She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Farris and Celia Farris; her husband Bill Smith; her former husband James Newcomb; her sons, Scotty Smith and Stan Smith; and her sisters, Geneva Wegman, Jean Whitehurst and Earline Maples.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Potts of Corinth and Billy Smith of Nashville; her brother Bobby Farris (Betty) of Pickwick; and her extended family, Becky, Dave Shanklin, Ricky and Mary Newcomb. She is also survived by grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
