It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Louella Grimes (Corinth, Mississippi), who passed away on May 14, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Plaxco and Lou Ella Plaxco; her husband Vernon E. Grimes, Sr.; her son James Michael Mayhall (Lorrie) of Bedford, TX; and her siblings, J. M. Plaxco, Roy Plaxco, Gene Plaxco and Doris Marie Grimes.
She is survived by: her son Vernon E. Grimes, Jr. of Odenton, MD; her daughter-in-law Evelyn Mayhall; and her granddaughters, Virginia Lee Mayhall Mimms and Leslie Gove of Tennessee. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
