Eilene Bates Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2024, at the age of 97, Eilene Bates of Corinth, Mississippi, born in Derry, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Paul Jesson and June Rose Gordon Jesson; her husband Edward Bates; and her siblings, Marjorie Simon, Rita Ford, Roger Jesson and Donne Jesson.

She is survived by: her friend Mary Jane Stull Jesson; her daughter Ed's; her friends, Sonny Boatman and Ed Lucas; her daughters, Susan Bates Adams (Jim) and Lisa Bates; her granddaughter Kate Adams Braddock (J. D.); and her great grandchildren, Jack Braddock and Savannah Braddock. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
