We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Dorothy Marie Burnett (Corinth, Mississippi), born in Blythe, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ben E. Burnett; her parents, John Lewis Beckum and Mamie Taylor Beckum; and her sister Wilma Busey. She is survived by: her children, Supervisor, Lynn Burnett Jones of Corinth, MS and Kay Burnett Wilbanks (Travis) of Corinth, MS; her grandchildren, Jason Jones (Tundi) and Joshua Jones (Cheryl); and her siblings, Lewis Taylor Beckum (Veronica) of Aiken, SC, Margaret Black of Augusta, GA and Ruth Peiffer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
In Lieu of Flowers the family request donations be made to the Library Fund at First Baptist Church of Corinth.
