He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cecil and Minnie Lee Goodman Franks; and his siblings, Charles Franks, Larry Franks, Shirley Franks, Sybil Ivy, Sue Spencer and Mary Lindsey.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Dixon Franks; his daughters, Rhonda Franks Wilbanks (Vaughn) and Tracy Franks Singleton (Scott); his grandchildren, Vaughn Connor Wilbanks (Anna Kate) and Megan Singleton Jumper (Colt); his great grandchildren, Bentley Madison Hall and Blakely Mae Jumper; and his sisters, Diane Ford and Nancy McCarley.
