She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Bivens and Eura Bivens; her siblings, Orville Bivens Jr., John Bivens, James Lee Bivens and Mary Frances Taylor; her nephews, Kerry Lee Bivens and Jimbo Bivens; and her niece Pam Taylor.

She is survived by: her husband Skip Kinkennon; her children, Trey Kinkennon (Julie) and Michelle Byrd (Harry Montgomery); her siblings, Jerry Bivens (Barbara), Lloyd Bivens (Cheryl), Brenda Thomas (Jimmy) and Carolyn Scott (Eddie); her sisters-in-law, Mary Alice Bivens, Hazel Bivens and Janet Bivens; and her grandchildren, Lance 'Patrick" Campbell, Justin Byrd (Chelsea), Tanner Byrd, Icelynn Kinkennon, Myles Kinkennon, Hayden Byrd, Hunter Byrd and Dani Kole Byrd.
