He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl and Elva Pharr Sitton; his siblings, Harold Sitton, Jimi Wellborn, Mary Nell Wiginton and June Monroe; his father-in-law John D. Seaton; and his siblings-in-law, Danny Lynch, Dianne Seaton and Debbie Seaton.

He is survived by: his wife Vernita Sitton; his children, Scott Sitton (Stacey), Vonda Jobe (Brad) and Tiffany Sitton; his grandchildren, Madison Jobe Darby (Bishop), Ian Jobe (Keely), Halle Jobe, Hannah Sitton, Carson Sitton and John Davis Sitton; his siblings, Edward Sitton (Ola Mae), Danny Sitton (Bobbie) and Shirley (Marvin Hight); his mother-in-law Doris Seaton; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Lynch, Ronald Seaton and Thomas Wiginton.
