He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. McMeans and Laura V. Cummings McMeans of Iuka. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Hall McMeans of Killen, AL; his sons, D. Chris McMeans (Jennifer) of Corinth, MS, S. Brett McMeans (Tamara) of Florence, AL and Tyson R. McMeans of Florence, AL; his sisters, Betty Callahan (Phil) of Corinth and Connie Frazier (Greg) of Orange Beach, AL; and his grandchildren, Cody McMeans (Holly) of Iuka, MS, Devin McMeans of Corinth, MS, Ashley McMeans of Corinth, Josh Boswell (Katie) of Cordova, TN and Connor McMeans of Florence, AL. He is also survived by three great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial gifts may be made in honor of Mr. David McMeans to the St. Jude Children's research Hospital or a charity of choice.
