He was predeceased by: his mother Edith Shankles Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Blair Stewart; his children, Gordon Douglas Stewart and Tracey Allen Stewart of Tupelo, MS; his grandsons, Benjamin Gordon Stewart and Elijah Gordon Stewart; and his daughter Dr. Molly Anna Stewart.
