He was predeceased by: his parents, David Frank and Sallie Turner (Nelms); his siblings, Leo, Benton, Flavers, Hillie, Price, Lillie, Lelar, Ella, Lois, Bessie, Velma and Irene; his grandson Justin Williams; and his son-in-law Leamon Talley.
He is survived by: his wife Hermie Monroe Turner; his children, Tommy Joe Turner (Martha Jo), Johnny Turner, Sandra Talley, Amy Taylor (Steven) and Wanda Williams (James); and his grandchildren, Danny Joe, Emily Bradley (Keith), Chris Talley, Beth Cossitt (Deryl), Brad Talley (Julie), Clay Turner (Lori), Clarice Bullock, Arianne Kapt, Katie Tomaszewski (Codye), Michael Taylor (Katie) and Amanda Janes (Landon). He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
