It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles M. Curtis (Corinth, Mississippi), who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alta Curtis and Clarene Robertson Curtis of Lowndes County, MS.; and his daughter Dorothy Renee Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Wiggins Curtis of Corinth; his children, Charles Curtis, Jr. (Delia) of Corinth, Charlotte Curtis and Scarlet Curtis of Tallahassee, FL; his grandchildren, Anna Curtis Ross of Florence, AL, Charles Curtis III of Corinth, Patrick Curtis Cox of Tallahassee, FL and Janie Renee Curtis of Tallahassee, FL; his great grandchild Andrew Bentley Ross of Florence, AL; his siblings, Rachel Allsup (Don) of Macon, MS, George Curtis (Brenda) of Knoxville, TN and Dr. David Curtis (Lynn) of Columbus; and his nieces and nephews, Haze Allsup, Curt Allsup, Ben Curtis, Stephen Curtis, Drew Curtis, Leigh Ann Rieth and Jenny Curtis Bennett.
