She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hoose and Armada Akins Van Hoose; her son Troy Barkes; and her siblings, Flora Newsome (Jeannie) and Enoch Van Hoose (Eddie).
She is survived by: her daughter Tasha Gilley; her stepson Joe Barkes; her grandchildren, Ashly Roman, Madison Gilley, McKayla Gilley, Joshua Gilley, Hunter Barkes, Byron Barkes and Dena Triplett; her stepgrandson Dakota Barkes; her siblings, Sandra Collier (Bill) and Troy Van Hoose (Shirley); her sister-in-law Angie Van Hoose; and her friends, Donna, Kenny Miles and Deacon Billy Taylor. She is also survived by her family and friends.
