She was predeceased by: her husband Miller; her brothers, Oscar Edward Spencer, III and John Clayton Spencer; her parents, Oscar Edward Spencer, Jr. and Vina Sue Leatherwood Spencer; her brothers-in-law, Billy Lane Childs and Danny Kaye Childs; her nephew James Todd Childs (Jimbo); and her siblings-in-law, Carole Gifford Spencer, Lucy Childs, Ann Childs, Turner Grover Childs and Myrtle Mae Studdard Childs.

She is survived by: her children, Anthony Spencer Childs (Tony) of Corinth, MS and Tiffany Childs Hight of Corinth, MS; her grandchildren, Braddock Ellis Hight (Jamie), Sydney Brooke Hight and Neeley Brennan Hight of Corinth; her sisters-in-law, Cathy Davis Spencer of Corinth, MS and Judy Taylor Childs of Gatlinburg, TN; her nieces and nephews, Michael Childs (Rayeann) of Memphis, TN, Oscar Edward Spencer, IV (Spence) of Corinth, MS, Tony Parnell of Gatlinburg, TN, Sylbia Spencer Mills (Barry) of Corinth, MS, Sally Spencer Hammett (Phillip) of Olive Branch, MS, Amy Spencer Vanderford of Oxord, MS, Kasey Spencer Atkins (Eric), Susan Spencer Butler (John) of Corinth, MS, Mary Katharine Spencer Sullivan (Brian), Sonja Childs Palmer of Booneville, MS and Lisa Childs Greenleaf of Gatlinburg, TN; and also Doris Whitaker Hathcock. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her dear, wonderful friends.
