She was predeceased by: her husband James Fred Mitchell; her parents, Ogle Mitchell and Ethel Mitchell; her siblings, Olen Mitchell, Junior Mitchell, William Mitchell, Lonnie Mitchell, Dorothy Mitchell and Martha Holloway; and her son-in-law Dwaine Deaton.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Gant (Roger) of Corinth, Brenda Deaton of Michie, TN and Billy Mitchell (Sandy) of Kossuth; her grandchildren, Jennifer Raburn (Tommy) of Michie, Jessica Stewart (Chris) of Selmer, Bradley Barlow (Kristi) of Pickwick, Jacy Raburn, Hailey Mae Raburn, Gianna Stewart, Aubree Stewart, Cash Barlow and Case Barlow; and her siblings, James Mitchell (Carol) of Corinth, Ronnie Mitchell (Barbara) of Illinois, David Mitchell (Sandy) of Illinois and Melba Hight (Jerry) of Michie.
