He was predeceased by: his daughter Tina James; his parents, Louise Worley Hastings and O. B. James; and his brother Larry James. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn James; his son Bryan James (Deanne); his grandchildren, Colbie James (Lino), Skye Rousell (Matthew), Brooke Ramsey (Austin), Corrina Wilson (Michael Ray) and Den Callahan (Mealee); his friend Jerry Latch (Valerie); and his nephew Larry James. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
