He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Taylor, and Arthur Taylor, Jr.; his grandparents, Dr. Van Buren Philpot (Lois) of Holly Springs, MS and Arthur Taylor (Corrinne) of Como, MS; and his nephew Arthur Taylor Boyd of Columbia, SC..

He is survived by: his siblings, Dr. Art Taylor of Winston-Salem, NC, Lee Taylor Boyd of Columbia, SC and Kenneth Taylor. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
