It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Guinn Lee of Como, Mississippi, born in Somerville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Edward Lee and Reba Estelle Russell Lee; and his siblings, Betty Jean Webb, Evanell Rogers, Max Lee and Wayne "Bubby" Lee.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ella Dawn Askew (Hugh) of Como, MS, Christy McGehee (Ken) of Coldwater, MS and Rebecca Starkey (Paul Watson) of Horn Lake, MS; his sisters, Vickie Parks (Donnie) of Somerville, TN, Millie Taylor (Ricky) of Somerville, TN and Dean Wharton (Eddie) of Oakland, TN; his grandchildren, Cody Shankle (Kari), Minnie Cobb (Nathan), Troy Askew of John, Starkey III, Joshua Starkey, Cory Newman and Shirlan Newman; and his great grandchildren, Brantley Cobb, Clayton Shankle, Jaxon Cobb and Alexis "Allie" Shankle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were John "JJ" Starkey, Shane Parks, Cody Shankle, Troy Askew, Hugh Askew and Jerry "Pee Wee" Rogers, Jr.
