She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Phillips; her parents, Allene Ferguson and Laverne Ferguson; her son Perry Phillips, Jr.; and her grandson Farley Salmon IV.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patti Sitek (Rick) and Emily Salmon (Jerry); and her grandsons, Jason Sitek (Callie), Kevin Sitek (KellyAnn) and Bryant Salmon (Bailey). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Matthew's United Methodist Church (7427 Old Canton Rd, Madison, MS 39110). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Cemetery (8 54th Street Southeast, Como, MS 38619).
In lieu of flowers or peace lilies, the family requests memorials to be made to St. Matthew's UMC Foreign Missions Fund.
