He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Cecil Crittenden and Ruby McMullin Crittenden; his former wife Mary Crittenden; and his siblings, Vera Sessions, Lorainne Teague, Cecil Crittenden and Marvin "Pete" Crittenden.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Crittenden of Columbus, Mississippi; his sons, Victor Crittenden of Grenada, Garry Crittenden (Nicki) of Columbus and Patrick Crittenden (Michele Williams) of Columbia, MD; and his grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer and Joshua. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
