In the vast expanse of eternity, Vernice Mae shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Vernice Mae farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Love, Cathy Pass, Christopher Dewayne Pass and James Lamar Pass; and her siblings, Josephine Shaw, Manville Hughes and Thomas Hughes. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tenth Street Missionary Baptist Church (1118 7th St S, Columbus, MS 39701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Victory Full Gospel Baptist Church (3240 E Roane Ave, Eupora, MS 39744).
