We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2024, at the age of 88, Trenton R. Sheffield of Columbus, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Snowden Sheffield; his children, Mitzi Younger (Curtis), Trenton Russell Sheffield (Kay) and Valerie Sheffield; his granddaughters, Brittany Matani (Haney), Whitney Strickland (Sam), Madison Shelton (Rob), Maggie Dunnam (Daniel) and Meredith Hester (Keith); and his great grandchildren, Jude, Prudence Strickland, Jacob, Jonah Matani, Grant, Rylee Hester and Ellyn Weathers Shelton.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 ST. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or Wounded Warrior Project.
