With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patty Ruth Petigo of Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on December 17, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Monroe Smith and Laverne Palmer Smith; her husband Dewey Petigo; her children, Rodney Guin of Columbus, MS, Jan Starling (Joe) of Mantachie, MS, Misty Blair (David) of Mantachie, MS and Karen Ritenhour (Andy) of Sylva, NC.; her grandchildren, Justin Stone, Bradley Starling (Laura), Alex Renfroe (Cody), Abagale McMahan (Cody), Mackenzie Carnathan, Sallie Starling and Greyson Blair; her great grandchildren, Maddox Renfroe, Nora Grace Starling, Jacy Starling, Darcy McMahan and Casen Starling; her sister Joyce Cooper; her stepfather Junior Butler; her sister Louise Orear; and her grandson Jackson Starling. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel (3535 MS-371, Mantachie, MS 38855). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
