Laura Boman Mason Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Boman Mason of Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Boman and Era Boman; her husband John Mason, Sr.; her daughters, Linda Burns and Joyce Knight; and her siblings, Dale Boman, Perry Boman, Bill Boman, Shirley Cox, Elwanda Payne and Hilda Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Junkin, Loretta Harper (Lamar), Frances Perrigin (Patrick), Imogene Towery, John Mason, Jr., David Mason and Judy Lane; and her brother Thad Boman. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, an abundance of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 in honor of Laura Boman Mason.
