June Hooper Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of June Hooper of Columbus, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardy Davis Funderburk and Louise Ford Funderburk; her husband John C. Hooper; her sons, Jeffrey Lollar and Billy Anthony "Tony" Hooper; and her siblings, Billy Funderburk and Joyce Funderburk Taylor.
She is survived by: her son Daniel Hooper (Suzey); her daughter-in-law Debbie Lollar; her grandchildren, Victoria Hooper, Trey Hooper, Natalee Hooper, Zachary Lollar (Michelle), Zebulon Lollar (Jennifer) and April Lollar; and her siblings, Carolyn Lowery (E. J.), Larry Funderburk (Debra), Eddie Funderburk, Rita Balchus (Bob) and Darrell Funderburk (Jeanie). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lowndes Funeral Home (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
