With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of JoAnn S. Hodges of Columbus, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Blanche and Morris Sizemore; her son Butch Hodges; and her sister Sarah Welch. She is survived by: her husband Thomas S. Hodges, Jr. (Toby); her daughter Diane Atwood (David) of Katy, TX; her sisters, Sue Goodman (Billy) of Caledonia, MS and Linda White (Harvey) of Columbus, MS; her grandson Sean Hodges of Columbus, MS.; and her brother-in-law Billy Welch. She is also survived by her 3 great grandchildren, along with 3 nieces and 3 nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Woodland Baptist Church (3033 Ridge Rd, Columbus, MS 39705). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
