With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Cutting Junkin of Columbus, Mississippi, born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on November 27, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband W. Searcy Junkin; her son Bradly West; and her parents, John Pitken Lappington and Gertrude Littrell Lappington. She is survived by: her children, John Leslie Cutting (Lisa), Brandee Delaney and Donna Cutting; her daughter-in-law Natalie West; her brother John P. Lappington II (Martha); her stepdaughters, Teresa Hicks (Jesse) and Cindy McDaniel (Ray); her grandchildren, Tiffany Witty (Aaron), Tyler Cutting (Anna), Nicholas Cutting, Marcus West (Heidi), Sydney Delaney and Alec West; and her stepgrandson Zackary Pate.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial to the Columbus-Lowndes Humane Society, 50 Airline Road, Columbus, MS 39702.
