She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Hulett and Evelyn Hulett; her husband Preston "Nick" Nichols; and her siblings, James Hulett of Columbus, MS, Vernon Hulett of Columbus, MS, William Hulett of Columbus, MS, Alene Jennings of Brandon, MS and Elmer Hulett of Peoria, IL..

She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Hulett of Vicksburg, MS and Maxine Roberts of Brandon, MS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery (176 Frontage Rd, Columbus, MS 39701).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church building fund.
